New Zealand Journal of Crop and Horticultural Science
Opportunity to submit your work as part of a NZJCHS special issue
With the support of the Royal Society Te Apārangi, the editors of the New Zealand Journal of Crop and Horticultural Science https://www.tandfonline.com/journals/tnzc20, and the organisers of Plant Science Central (PSC), there is an opportunity to submit your work as part of a NZJCHS special issue containing papers from our conference. This is a great opportunity to publish the research that you are presenting at PSC as a full journal article, ensuring lasting longevity and visibility far beyond the conference. Here is the special issue that was published for work presented at the last PSC meeting (PSC 2023) https://www.tandfonline.com/toc/tnzc20/52/3
We aim to publish as many papers as possible to create a decent and cohesive collection. If you wish to have a paper considered for this special issue, please indicate this by sending an email to Dr Mo Li m.li2@massey.ac.nz no later than Friday, the 27th of June. In this email please include a working title, names and affiliations of authors and a contact email for the paper. Once approved, you are welcome to submit your full manuscript via the journal portal even before the conference.
Please be aware that submission to the journal does not guarantee acceptance of the manuscript. Your paper will be formally peer reviewed via the normal journal publishing processes. Both poster and oral presenters are welcome to submit papers for consideration. For all other enquiries relating to the special issue please contact Dr Li.
The expected timelines for the special issue are as follows:
Submission deadline: 29 Aug 2025
Acceptance deadline: End of Dec 2025
Published in early 2026
